Character: Romeo, King of Puppets!

Seeking: Romance (with or without eventual smut), gen; memes, PSLs, games! I'm getting back into DWRP after a break and I'm down to try lots.

Castmates, crossovers, OCs! For castmates we could do pre-canon, post-canon, DLC and/or lore exploration, etc. For specific crossovers, I think Soulsborne/Soulslikes would be fun. I've only finished Bloodborne but I'm working on Elden Ring now. I love to explore lore through the course of a thread, and I enjoy crossovers where one character is put into another world, whether it's mine or yours (e.g. Romeo in Elden Ring, or your character in Lies of P). For game canons in general, I have a PC, PS4, and Switch, and I'm totally up for trying out your game canon if I can get a hold of it.

Offering: Mostly what I've already mentioned above, but I'd love to explore any ship! M/M, M/F, M/NB, etc. I'm honestly down for trying whatever. If you play Carlo or P and might like to explore this, I enjoy the thought that Romeo had romantic feelings for Carlo, whether or not it was one-sided or ever acted upon (and then this can make his relationship with P more complicated and painful).

Hello! I just recently finished watching a Let's Play and several deep-dive lore videos on the game and all of its endings, and I got the itch to pick up P like five minutes ago, so please forgive the lack of icons at the moment! I've also watched LPs for Bloodborne, and a buddy is working through playing Elden Ring for me, so I'm at least canon-familiar with all those settings, too.

Anyway, I'm a very big fan of the "coming back wrong" or "replacement goldfish" tropes, and I enjoyed Guillermo del Toro's take on the Pinocchio story very much. Definitely agree with the interpretation that P is his own person that happened to inherit some of Carlo's memories and personality, so I'd be down for exploring that in some kind of post-canon AU scenario! Maybe he held onto Romeo's ergo and was able to put it in a new puppet body, similar to what happens with Sophia in the Rise of P ending? Maybe Romeo and Sophia are both hiding out together until tensions calm down in Krat and P goes to visit them from time to time?

I am very much down to ship, and from what I've seen in the game, I feel like Romeo was definitely harboring feelings for Carlo, which makes that boss fight all the more painful... The pendant seems to indicate that perhaps Carlo was starting to reciprocate those feelings, but since he died shortly after, maybe P didn't inherit those feelings quite as strongly? I think it would be cool to explore the idea of "falling in love all over again," with P having to reconcile the memories he inherited from Carlo alongside the experiences he's gained as his own person. He's only just recently awakened to "human" emotions, after all, so he's still learning to process them, and while Carlo's memories offer a blueprint, he's still very much new to this whole "falling in love" business!

No worries about the icons!! The icon life for Lies of P characters can be super rough (I taught myself how do use the camera mod and console commands so I could get weird angles and stuff, haha). And I'm so glad to see Lies of P castmates!!! And before I slink into your DMs I wanted to thank you for taking the time to write out such a thoughtful reply!!! 💕
