LIES OF P

Character: Giangio
Seeking: Gen or romance with anyone! One particular dynamic I'd love to explore for Giangio is him finally learning how to love (and then maybe his love betrays him in the end, because he deserves it). I like the "I hate everyone but you" sort of trope for Giangio, and him possibily falling for a human/mortal (and therefore a doomed relationship, since he's immortal; maybe his partner even refuses the immortality that Giangio offers).
I have some castmate specific ideas below the cuts (for Dorothy and P) but I'm just spitballing. I'm good with discussing other ideas!
Lies of P spoilers beneath the cuts.
Dorothy
- All we really know about her is that she is a "key" to whatever Giangio is looking for, and the bottom half of her appearance (red dress, red shoes, etc). At this point she could be whoever we want her to be, personality-wise.- I like the thought of romance (whether it's one-sided/unrequited on Giangio's part or not). Maybe Dorothy is initially captured or being investigated by Giangio's immortal-loving organization, and there's something about her that surprises him, draws him in, or otherwise makes him want to treat her kindly despite treating everyone else in his life like objects.
P
- We probably won't be getting specific details about the DLC/sequel for a good long while, so it'd be fun to explore something post-canon. Maybe P and Giangio meet up again and Giangio can't fake his illness anymore (or maybe he still tries?).- Meeting again in Oz...? I don't have a ton of specific ideas on where/how they might meet up again but I'd love to discuss.
General ideas and possible crosscanon (CN: obsession, murder, Bloodborne AU - human experimentation, blood powers)
- Leaning into other obsessive dynamics (Giangio wanting to add the other character to his immortal family as a spouse/parent/sibling/child/whatever).- Maybe at some point the other character uses Giangio's weird obsession to get closer to him so that they can kill him, whether or not there was ever genuine love between them (however one might kill a Giangio, anyway; we don't know the extent of his power but with the way he walks around Krat with little besides a very cool umbrella weapon, I assume there might be a trick to killing him. Maybe the other character is the only one he confides his weakness to).
- A Bloodborne inspired AU, because I am nothing if not predictable: Giangio running a clinic similar to Iosefka where he experiments on people that the other character (the hunter?) brings his way. Maybe Giangio offers his weird gross immortal blood and that has some sort of effect. Or maybe exploring Cainhurst lore and Giangio is the last of the Vilebloods (and wants to make more, somehow).
Offering: Giangio is a creepy fellow fixated on the study of immortality and such. If the other character is immortal or has something else to offer him, he's likely very interested in them. He would probably betray anyone for a single corn chip, assuming it's a flavor he enjoys (or just one he wants to try). As stated above I'd enjoy exploring him experiencing love for another person but it'll be rough (for both characters, undoubtedly).

Geppetto
Character: Giuseppe Geppetto
Seeking: Gen or romance with anyone! Depending on the character you're interested in playing, there could be some manner of redemption arc... or maybe further devolving into cruelty. Angst, romance, horror — I like to try anything.
I have ideas for castmates below the cut (specifically P, Carlo, and Romeo) but these were all just off the top of my head to get the ball rolling. We can always discuss other ideas for any character!
Lies of P spoilers (CN: death, murder, illness, child neglect)
- Alternate ending where Geppetto doesn't die. Maybe Nameless misses or injures another part of him, and P ends up taking him back to the hotel to get him tended to.
- For handwavey reasons somehow P manages to put Geppetto's ergo into a puppet post-Rise of P/Free from the Puppet Strings.
- Real Boy Carlo and Geppetto. Anything at all, but I'd love to explore their life post-game (and/or have Geppetto push him too hard and end up getting killed by him or something).
- For all of the above ideas: does Geppetto start/continue a sort of redemption arc or is he still garbage? Let's find out. It'd be nice to have him be kind to P (Patting P's head! Reading him books! Encouraging him to pick his own name!) even if it's difficult for him to ease into, and if it's post-Rise of P specifically, maybe Geppetto doesn't even feel he deserves P or his forgiveness (I'm curious about how the hotel residents would react, too; would P keep Geppetto's secret, at least at first or for even longer?).
- Pre-canon ideas: legit anything with Carlo! The (1) time Geppetto visits him at school, or Carlo comes home unannounced — anything like that. Or pre-canon with P on the train or as he's being built or something. I like to wonder what sort of context Geppetto might have given P for the world (and for Geppetto himself, since P seems drawn to him by instinct; did Geppetto program any of that love into him somehow or is it part of Carlo's heart being drawn to him and wanting to please and protect his father?).
- Another Carlo idea but maybe Geppetto finds him before he totally succumbs to the petrification disease and brings him home to tend to him. Maybe there's forgiveness, maybe there's not.
- If there are any Romeos around, I'm really into the idea of exploring how Romeo being turned into a puppet might have gone. Did Geppetto go to the charity house and find Romeo still alive? Did Romeo somehow manage to drag himself to wherever Geppetto was? How might the whole conversation have gone afterward (was this their first meeting?): Geppetto first learning of Carlo's death, and his reaction to that but also to Romeo. Was he jealous of Romeo to some extent? When did Geppetto decide to use Romeo for his plans — was it immediately or was it his grief over time, while working on Romeo, that pushed him to that?
And here's a crossover idea that I think would be fun: Bloodborne AU with Geppetto in Gehrman's role and the other character as the hunter (and/or P as the doll).
Offering: I offer you (1) terrible old man. A neglectful father. I'm bad with figuring out ages but I figure he's 55+. If you're unfamiliar with his character but are interested in playing with him, I can give more spoilery warnings.

Seeking: Gen or romance! I'm always hungry for ships, especially when it involves someone that struggles to articulate or experience emotions. Anything involving castmates is great, but also happy for crosscanon CR, especially if the characters are AU'd into the same setting.
Scenarios I would be interested in:
- Canon explorations with castmates! Let's dig deeper into their relationships! All those moments of downtime at the hotel, or maybe AU crosscanon characters in as a friendly stalker. Post-canon stuff? I'm pretty much down for anything and everything related to the setting.
- Fairy Tale AUs, especially if they draw on a mix of tropes/stories rather than just sticking to a single tale. Think Princess Tutu in terms of plot or set-up. Anything involving the loss or shattering of a heart and the subsequent loss of emotions/humanity along with it.
- Bloodborne AU with P as a fellow hunter or possibly in the role of the Plain Doll, who may or may not evolve beyond that role? Puppets are likely immune from the Ashen Blood Disease, but maybe it's more difficult for them to recover from grievous injuries? What happens if you infuse a puppet with the Old Blood? Let's find out!
Offering: Just a silly little guy trying his best to become human! He starts out fairly reticent but becomes more talkative as time goes on. Confused by colloquialisms, sarcasm, and memes, he's still learning the nuance of language, which can lead to humorous misunderstandings! May come off a bit creepy or unsettling at times due to lack of socialization, and has a habit of staring overly long without blinking. He may be a bit awkward, but his heart holds so much love for others, and he wants very much to be loved in return! He's not at all put-off by unsocialized gremlins, and will offer a hand in friendship to just about any chaotic little guy in need of support.

Seeking: Just about anything with castmates! This is a pretty rare fandom nowadays, I realize, but if anyone else is playing from Loveless I would absolutely love to thread. Give me your Ritsukas, Seimeis, Niseis, Kios, Zeroes of any gender, or anyone else for that matter! I would love to thread with Ritsu - give me all of that toxic psychology.
While I'm perfectly happy to do one-off threads, it would be especially cool if anyone wanted to do a longer-running PSL. Anything from the past with Soubi's former associates either at school or while he was paired with Seimei, or anything from the story's present; Kouga Yun no longer seems to be writing Loveless, but she left us on a pretty interesting cliffhanger!
Offering: Soubi is generally a pretty misanthropic person and he actively avoids forming new relationships with others unless told by his current master to do so. But he gives his heart and soul to the people he does get to know, particularly whoever is currently his rightful master. He is capable of protecting his loved ones from harm with some truly epic magic. Oh, and he's also an awesome cook, if you like traditional Japanese cooking.
