Niki Shiina

Character: Niki Shiina, an idol who's best known for his love for eating, talent for cooking, and his bright smile. He's naturally good at being an idol, but lacks motivation. Idol activities tire him out because he has a medical condition where he gets hungry too easily. He has low self-esteem. He's dumb EXCEPT when it comes to food. If you praise him, it's easy to get him to do things. He gets along with everybody!

As a child, he used to host a cooking show with his dad, a celebrity chef, until his dad was framed and dragged into a scandal so that an idol show could take his timeslot. Eventually his parents left him in Japan to travel the world. Life has been lonely and awful since then, but as long as he has a smile on his face and isn't a bother to anybody, everything will be okay!!!!!!!!!

Seeking: Shipping. Ideally, I'd like to play an m/f ship where he's the sunny idol/cook/waiter/barista who prefers to pine and keep at an arm's length until he realizes he has to make a move at some point. Or maybe the girl moves first. The setting can be canon or AU! I have a lot of AU ideas. I don't mind if the other party is older or younger. I have no squicks on that front.

If not that, I'd like someone who would drag Niki into shenanigans but also see through his smiles. He's not always sad! He just hates it when he is.

Smut is absolutely okay — I love it — but I'd like a story to it.

As for canonmates, I'd love a Mayoi since I've never tagged one! I always want Rinne, too.

Offering: Niki's kind and understanding to a fault, so if you want to play out a dynamic where someone will stick with your damaged character through thick and thin, he's here. If you want a character to tease yours, he can do that too! He can be very forward when he wants to be. If your character smells delicious (don't ask), that's an extra in for him to be touchy-feely since he has no personal space. He's just the cute, playful type.
