Character: coming here with sir godfrey gwilym, my tav!

here is my infopost with more info, but the quick pitch is that he's a widowed single dad who started in the lathanderian church as a priest, and rededicated as a paladin. he's sweet and gentle-hearted and fills the seconds without danger and brainworm nonsense thinking about his daughter.

Seeking: SO i also have these ideas listed on his infopost but generally: id love to get to write some more shipping/smut with him, particularly some sweet and happy stuff. he has abstained for a long ass time before the adventure due to both the grief of his husband and taking on raising his child by himself and i think he just needs to get some more sloppy makeouts in. i want my boy to be happy, and i'll give any guy who's 25+ a shot

otherwise:

- i like when i get to talk philosophy and theology with him

- i would absolutely adore some gen with the girls, particularly origin companions! ive had not very many chances to explore this and id love to do it more

- id like to kill him. i want to give him a good paladin death at least once. that good heroic sacrifice shit. he'll generally try to stay alive to be with his daughter but if he knows he's bonded with someone he can trust with her, or that its either him or the world, he'll do what he's gotta.

- in pursuing interesting relationships with him, i would love to see him forced to let someone else care for him for a change. he keeps his cards pretty close to his chest so he can project strength and stability and be reliable to his new friends, and caring for people comes so naturally to him. so an easy way to really deepen a relationship is to force the tables to turn and have him be cared for instead.

i had a specific idea for this involving some traditional medieval battle medic medicine im interested in poking at, either for gen cr or a ship. it doesn't have to be anything so dramatic, but it was something specific i thought of wrt this!

- i have seen like two people maybe playing emperor but he has a neat hook for emperor specifically. i made his dream visitor his dead husband. i think this could add a very sad and tragic and fucked up layer to their dynamic and id love to toy with that at some point. totally up to you how and why he landed on that image, whether it was cobbled together unknowingly or purposefully put together, or if it was just a fucked up coincidence. hmu if anyone's interested in doing anything with that.

- i cant believe i almost forgot. id also like to do some things with his backstory specifically at some point. i can bring in iltha for anyone who would like to play with him being a parent, or perhaps some cute coparenting stuff. ive also got a couple of explanations for the truth behind godfrey's husband's death we could play around with, if anyone's interested in that 👀

Offering: aside from the situations portrayed above, godfrey is:

- a big, gay, vaguely melancholic teddy bear who will always put others before himself
- protective of his new buddies who he loves, and he genuinely wants to help them be the best versions of themselves they can be
- a natural carer and doesn't easily rise to provocation, but runs very cold and quiet when he does get angry
- friendly, understanding, kind
- FULLY dedicated to his god and his doctrine
- always trying to improve himself (maybe a little too hard)
- following rules for me, but not for thee

he tends to go very well with chaotic little guys, The Fatherless, and fellow husband-coded heroes who would rather be shopping for produce and tastefully chuckling at the newspaper funnies.
