• jack's info but tl;dr, a time traveler from 2040 currently operating as a spy in ww2 europe to prevent an axis victory.
• mostly, spy and war stuff. action heavy stuff.
• open to shipping him (m/f) but only with prior discussion.

• also interested in other time travelers. maybe another person traveled back with him?

• i'd like to stick to historical realism, but i have no problem with some magical realism.
• also i have no problem tweaking the time travel element of his background, such as jack hailing from a future where the axis won.
• i have an open post on my journal but i'd prefer to plot out cr and thread ideas first before posting!

Character: Marvel/X-Men adjacent. In a world where a small percentage of the population are mutants -- born with superpowers -- an even smaller percentage of those aren't gifted with the powers that everyone loves. They don't get pyrokinesis, or flight, or invisibility. They get uncontrollably emitted radiation, or slime biology, or a parasite in their stomach that eats anything, or whatever else society doesn't think of as pretty and useful. These people are looked down on by not just humans, but even other mutants. Often forced into the sidelines of society, this small sub-section of mutants usually wind up homeless and alone, deemed too dangerous or too ugly.

Enter: Niccolo Constantino. Born with a mutation that reflexively and uncontrollably copies the abilities of other mutants, he can barely use the useful powers, and his body spends its time fluctuating between various physical mutations. A bone tail one day, stone legs the next; it can get inconvenient, to say the least. His family was understanding, but society wasn't. Nobody wants to employ a guy who might have to work from the bathtub half the week because he picked up a mermaid mutation, or can't type because his arms are lava, or whatever else he has going on on a daily basis.

A group of homeless mutants made their home on an abandoned dock, and Niccolo -- or Nic to his friends -- over time wound up becoming the leader. His sense of empathy, his confidence, his activist spirit, all made him the perfect choice. Now he spends his days tending to his little community, making a home for discarded mutants where they can feel safe. And when he can, he organizes protests in the city, though not many tend to show up.

Seeking: Primarily looking for shippy PSLs, m/m only, and I'd prefer the other character to be 25+ as Nic is in his mid-late 20s. I'm open to both OCs and canons; canon characters from superhero franchises would work particularly well! Heroes, villains, anti-heroes, they're all welcome. Is your character down on their luck and need a place to stay? Do they get injured and need a place to recuperate? Maybe they're looking to extend an alliance, or do diplomatic outreach, or just learn more about Nic's group. There's all sorts of ways your character could run into him!

Offering: I love both darker stuff and light hearted fluff, and I love plot heavy and slice of life stuff, and my ideal PSL is a combo of all of these. What I'd especially love is another superhero verse character where stuff like culture clashes and politics can come up.
