Astarion Acunin | Baldur's Gate 3

Character: Astarion, a vampire spawn high elf who's escaped the thrall of his sadistic master due to a mindflayer tadpole in his brain. He's sarcastic, has a cruel streak, petulant, but maybe he can remember how to be humane again.

Preference For: Canonmates (yes) | Crosscanon (yes; I will probably not know your canon but that's fine with me) | AU (depends)

Seeking:

• I rather like romantic shit, and I'm open to playing him with any companion or player Tavs and Durges (though I will say I struggle with romancing him with Shadowheart, Lae'zel and Wyll but the spirit is willing), and seeing if something cross-canon can work.
• Love smut, but will FTB for those that don't.
• Introspection (about being a hero, exploring his romantic relationship as he struggles with sexual touch, etc etc), playing out scenarios post-game, meeting new adventurers (good for cross canon) and building a connection, etc.
• Good at just bantering, especially comedic interactions

Offering:

• I like playing him near end-game/post-game so he's more personable
• But I also like playing him at his meaner, gremlin self for anyone that wants to navigate that era further than the game does
• Someone with a tragic past that can commiserate with your character's tragic past
• Really, just about anything anyone wanted to explore with Astarion, just pitch me an idea!

I can be slow to tag or even disappear for days, especially for longer format writing, but I do backtag for a long time and don't mind a reminder every couple weeks or something.

#thedream is definitely some kind of starting in act 2 slow burn! I'm interested in how their respective issues, self preservation instincts and presentation to the world kind of play off each other, dig into what the whole adventure sifts out of them both. also I just love act 2, as a selune cleric main lmao.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer

It's been a hot minute, but I recently rewatched season 2 & 3 of Buffy and got sucked right back into the hellmouth this ancient fandom. I've got Giles here (and potentially a Xander, if anyone is open to letting me voicetest) who I'd love to inflict on canonmates and non-canonmates alike. Very flexible about canonpoint; I'm familiar with every season of Buffy and Angel, plus I'm vaguely aware of the comic happenings, so I can roll with anything.

Happy to AU Giles into other canons as well. Giles is The Dad of his canon, and he lends himself to the mentor role pretty well. He works in most urban fantasy settings, but anything with magic and monsters is doable. Crosscanon and OCs both very welcome.

Hey there! I recently started rewatching the show myself and remembered just how much I adored it eons ago, back when the seasons were still coming out. Giles has always been a personal favorite so, if you'd like to, I could offer Kate Bishop from the MCU. I think the fandoms could easily blend, if you're interested.

Her dad died when she was a kid so a father figure to interact with would be lovely. She's a bit of a reckless rich kid, very athletic, specially good at archery, and playing the hero part. So maybe potential Slayer material?
