Characters: Tasha Yar (TNG), Beckett Mariner (LDS), possibly Kes and B'Elanna Torres (VOY)

Preferences: I would love to play with other Star Trek characters, but I'm down to chuck them at other sci-fi franchisees too because the compares/contrasts are always fun! (Contemporary modern/historical/fantasy isn't out of the question either because hey, MAYBE THAT'S JUST WHAT'S HAPPENING THIS WEEK.)

Seeking: My favored thread genre is characters working together to achieve a goal since I think that's a good way to kick off CR, and I'm pretty flexible about what kind of prompts achieve that.

For Tasha and Kes, since they got short shrift in canon, I'd love to be able to build them up and have them show their depth/potential more! For Mariner I am down for anything whether it's deep shit or chaos (or knowing her, getting into the deep shit during chaos). Same for B'Elanna.

I'm more interested in gen/platonic relationships than romantic ones, although if things are seeming to develop that way naturally, I'm open to it.

I'd love to do some gen with Tasha and Deanna! The canon point I've drawn her from is First Contact, so that would make for an interesting contrast between canon points if we did time travel shenanigans, or I could, of course, bring her to a PSL from season 1.

Also, if you're interested in seeing how they get along, I have season 2 Michael Burnham! I'd have to canon review a bit for her, though.

... and extended universes! Hello, Dead Boy Detectives, I see you (even though I haven't yet seen the show).

Character: Johanna Constantine. Dirtbag occultist. Will exorcise for exorbitant amounts of money.

Preference For:

• I hold my hands out for universe-mates and castmates from the Netflix show and the comics!
• I'm pretty familiar with Hellblazer comics canon and draw from it a lot for Johanna, and while I'm less familiar with a lot of other Vertigo and DC properties, I'm totally down for bouncing around in those shared universes too. I always have a blast with Constantine-on-Constantine bullying, too.
• Crosscanon and OCs! Urban fantasy and other angels/demons/monsters/horror canons are the most natural fit for her, but I'm down for jamjars or even wild crossover AUs if you are

Seeking: Okay so specifically I come to you today, PSL finders, to see if people want to play with a couple specific Sandman/Hellblazer ideas.

1. Seasons of Mists: before season 2 comes along and josses us, does anyone want to play in a world where the dead (and a lot of demons) have been ejected from Hell and there's chaos up on Earth?
2. The Resurrection Crusade: what happens when a fundamentalist cult starts trying to bring about the second coming in 2022ish, and both Heaven and Hell have a stake in it?
3. The Family Man: since it's Sandman canon that the Family Man can't make it to the cereal convention because he's stalking Constantine, who wants some NBC Hannibal-style hijinks with a plain old unsupernatural serial killer?
4. Stations of the Cross: though mainly the "shitty buddy comedy setup of trekking through hell with a demon who hates you" aspect (less the "magical demon kids" bit). I just think having Jo go to Hell or some other underworld with a friend, enemy, or frenemy and having to get out would be fun!
5. Any Sandman arc that could reasonably fit an occultist. Calling up Constantine for help while searching for Destruction? AU where Alex Burgess hired Jo to maintain the fishbowl?

I am mega open to other stuff -- these are just things I've been rolling around in my head for a while! I don't mind things developing into shippy or smutty places, if the CR goes that way, though I prefer to let that kind of thing happen organically with chemistry than go in with that as the plan. Gen is great too!
