Looking for Lycaon for shipping! I've fallen into the LycaWise rabbit hole and I can't get out... send help. They're just really fluffy and all the trust dates are super cute, you know? Cole Sullivan | OC

Character: Cole Sullivan. 33. Lawyer, man about town, family man. Only son of respected Texas lawyer Kevin Sullivan, who's now building his own legal career while also trying to come to terms with his changing sexual orientation. Bio is on his journal and a more formal infopost is here.

Preference For: Canonmates, but ota.

Seeking: People who would be willing to play the npc's in Cole's life and help flesh out his universe. Namely his office rival Tommy Baxter, a Yale grad who happens to also be dating Cole's adoptive sister Natalie, and his ex-fiance Katelyn Foster, whom he hasn't seen since he called off their engagement.

Offering: For Tommy, I see them as having a frenemies relationship where they butt heads but are on each other's side at the end of the day. Tommy is more about winning and making money than Cole is, and Cole rankles at the idea of the one person he argues with dating his sister. But when Cole comes out as gay, Tommy is the first person to offer his support, and he genuinely has feelings for Natalie.

Katelyn and Cole have a more difficult dynamic because he called off the engagement after she accused him of sleeping with Natalie. He couldn't be with someone who didn't understand that Natalie has always been a sister to him, and he also didn't have the guts to tell her what he was going through personally. I'd like to see them reconnect, work out their problems and learn to at least be cordial with each other. Katelyn is also a lawyer so they could end up working together.

• prefer to stick to historical realism (well lol as realistic as a story involving time travel is). but i'm also open to putting him in a superhero setting. some magical realism is fine.
• also a-ok with making him a generic time traveler (only haven't committed to the idea cos i'm waiting for lucas englander to become boy lily james). tbh i'm open with au-ing him into anything lol

Character: Becca Nova! Barista and writer, cat lady, lover of weird shit.

Seeking: I get pretty shy about tagging out to new people (especially with OCs) so it's always nice to gauge interest and see who's interested in letting her bug them. :3

Offering: Friends, romances, hookups, adventures. I'm a big fan of ongoing SLs, whether it takes place across different memes, or if we do private threads, whatevs. She's got some plucky sidekick vibes, also potential for weirdo stalker vibes. I don't mind some antagonistic interactions but I'd prefer to keep it to a minimum because I just find it stressful. But other than that I like to explore all different kinds of plots (though admittedly I'm a big shipper at heart).

That list is not by any means complete. She'd fit in pretty well anywhere. With her IC interests, cop shows or magical/paranormal stuff would work. I also have a fantasy/historical AU version of her (bexthered) if that's preferred - I'm particularly keen to do HotD/GoT/ASOIAF stuff and I have ideas! And I'm more than happy to shove default/modern Becca into a different setting. The "fish out of water" thing can be so fun to play, and it particularly works well for Becca.
