Hello! I have been horrendously flaky the past few weeks because of various RL circumstances, but if I ca get my shit together I would love more thread(s) with your Karlach. I keep coming up with fix-it AUs and post-game Quest to Let Karlach Live ideas and I am hungry for action threads with or without romance attached.

I do also have lost_and_foundry and I keep thinking something with the Ironhands and Gondians working together to help Karlach either within the constraints of Act 3 or after would be both plausible and fun to write. Tieve is my main right now, but I keep wanting to play assorted other BG3 characters so if you want 'em, you can probably talk me into 'em.

not sure if you're familiar with fallout at all, but i've been lowkey interested in mashing lucy with the bg3 ladies and i'd love to do something crosscanon if you would!

if you're not familiar, the tl;dr is that lucy was essentially raised in an isolated bunker with a cloistered society, so she's pretty naive to The Horrors Of The World, but eventually their vault gets attacked and her dad gets kidnapped so she goes out looking for him. this is a lil video of her introducing herself... i think their brands of goofy would play off of each other well!!

i'm down for auing her into the forgotten realms setting, either following the bg3 story or something different! i've rambled enough already, but i've got some ideas to throw at the wall if you're interested!

Tieve (Tav) | Baldur's Gate 3

Character: My take on the malleable protagonist of Baldur's Gate 3. The basics are in this journal, but in short: Archfey warlock, a little reckless, comes across as naive very much on purpose, is usually the Mom Friend, fails a lot of perception checks. She does present herself as very sweet, upbeat, even perky, and most of her choices are chaotic good, so she may read as a little bland at first, but there is a lot going on under the surface, and a lot of her persona is a survival mechanism.

Preference For: Canonmates including Tavs/Durges | Crosscanon | AU | OCs Absolutely any and everyone, please play with me. I play her as pansexual and ship with any gender. Slow burn is likely, especially if playing her during canon events.

Seeking: So, I think the problem I'm running into is I want to play D&D without actually playing D&D. I am fascinated by the world-building around BG3 and how it fits into the rest of FR (which I'm relatively new to). I went out and bought the Descent into Avernus book despite knowing I have no idea how to DM and no one to play with irl, because I wanted the background info. Now I just want to play around with plots, world building, adventures, character growth, etc., and my usual stomping ground is memes which don't necessarily lend themselves to that. So what I really really want is to write some collaborative adventure shit.

Offering: Tieve really lends herself to friendly CR; her default mode is trying to connect and collaborate with others, then trying to look after whoever will let her. This doesn't mean complicated or negative CR is impossible, though, especially with more, ahem, complicated characters. She's a chameleon, that's her self-defense, and she can and will reflect what she thinks your character wants to see in her. She's generally chaotic good, but perfectly willing to put on a ruthless mask and do bad things if the end justifies the means. I've had a lot of fun bouncing her off of canon 'villains'. Tl;dr she's very easy to befriend and romance, but if you want political intrigue and sudden heel-face turns, that's not out of the realm of possibility for her.

Also, I'm not going to do a separate toplevel for each and every one, but there are a handful of other NPCs and companions I could be talked into playing with zero arm-twisting required for the sake of particularly far-reaching plots concepts.

Character: Ea Lowkey (look don't laugh at me for that surname, she was a DnD character and I wanted to reference a Very Specific Trickster with it) is a tiefling, arcane trickster rogue, Robin Hood persona but with a chaotic neutral alignment. This means less of the 'always help everyone' and more 'follow personal rules and personal gains but look out for the underdog - and sometimes do a little murder for fun'.

Preference For: Canon: all companions, Tavs and Durges are all welcomed - I am flexible! I'd rather avoid modern!aus, unless the modern part of the au keeps all the 5e-ness of the game. You have to be prepared for her to be a coffee snob, though.

Seeking: GEN: texting threads, meme threads that sort of link together timeline-wise, companionship and trust-building; SHIPPING/SMUT: I will ship her with anyone she's got 30% chemistry with, and chances are that if we've threaded on bkrstr and I thought it was fun, I'll ship it. I won't apologise for the way I am, come at me. Let's make our Barbies smash.

Offering: shenanigans, violence!, heists, intro to lockpicking, missing canon threads, campsite banter, journey banter, all the texting threads you desire, A Lot Of Angst Can Fit In This Baby /pats hood, no strings attached sex (that can turn into more! who expected this!), R O M A N C E... oh and pegging. Astarion Ancunin | Baldur's Gate 3

Character: Astarion Ancunin. Vampire spawn, traumatizing backstory, trying to be a somewhat better person. He's smarmy, manipulative, a bit of an asshole, but if you can get past that he's still smarmy and a bit of an asshole but with a soft edge. I tend to play him later Act III (pre or post Cazador death depending), or post-game. Still chaotic, but tries to be more good about it than bad.

Preference For: Canonmates (both Tavs/Durges and companions), cross-canon and OCs are good too but if they fit into the DnD/Fantasy realm.

Not really into AUing him, unless if it has a similar DnD/Fantasy feel. (Aka no coffee shop AUs.)

Seeking/Offering:

• Filling in game gaps! Because it's very vague about a number of things, it's fun to fill in those holes.
• Re-writing game points! So like, one of my fave PSLs going on write now is a Durge/Astarion romance but it happens totally different from how the game has it set out. Stuff like that but having it still follow the general beats of the game is fun.
• Post-game stuff! Figuring out what our characters would do post-game. Are they together, what do they do post game together, how do they work with him being unable to go into the sun again? Do they get together post-game, how does that happen? Want to just write them being mercenary friends having a blast killing bad guys at night? Etc, etc.
  
  For cross-canon/OCs I find having Astarion meet them post-game is easiest, too.
• Generally, just shippy stuff. I love writing gross romance. If all we wanted to do was write them cuddling and on dates damn I'll do it.
• Smut! I love writing smut! I'll even write plot-what-plot smut all day long! That said, smut isn't required to write shippy stuff with me, happy to FTB!
• I'm pretty open to anything, so feel free to ask about an idea you have!
• If we haven't threaded on bakerstreet yet I like to do a couple memes to see if we mesh, then can do stuff in my (or yours) musebox along with memes!

Rook/The Dark Urge | Baldur's Gate 3

Character: Rookwood, a Bhaalspawn Resist Urge Warlock from Baldur's Gate.

Preference For: Canonmates | DND OCs | 21+ | M/M for shipping/romance/smut | Friendship, Adventures, Platonic Fun Times

I would also love to get a group PSL going. You know you're dying to have chill camp shenanigans or post-game scenarios.

Seeking: Camp interactions, Filling in BG3 Gaps, Postcanon, BG3 AUs/Whatifs exploring changes in canon, Anything in the BG3 OR Forgotten Realms Setting.

Offering: Prose writing with consistent tagging. Fluff. Angst that ends happy. Shippy stuff, smut, banter, and enemies to friends/lovers. I'm a sucker for tropes (arranged marriage, political marriage, etc) and I tag pretty consistently but I'm at the tail end of grad school and I work so some days I'm spottier than others. I do like using discord for extended PSLs.
